As we've reported in the past, effective administration and management of school district operations can have a lasting effect on teacher morale and retention.  However, many districts struggle with properly supporting the administrative needs of their teachers.

Ben Johnson reports this week for Edutopia on a few simple solutions to common administrative challenges that teachers face at the beginning of each school year.

Among the tips provided in the article are ideas on how to assess the resource needs of teachers throughout the year by conducting a survey of their needs, and putting a communications process in place so that teachers can easilly communicate needs for repairing or replacement of supplies in the classroom.
