Steve Demel is director of purchasing at Tacoma Public Schools. In order to improve processing times for purchasing requests made by other departments, he turned to Lean Project Management.

In this webinar, viewers will learn why Tacoma decided to implement Lean within its purchasing procoess, what training was involved, how they identified projects to implement as a result of going Lean, and the results of one of those projects, which helped the district go digital with its purchasing forms.
